3D Wildflower Photos

I don't quite know what I think of 3D photos. From my limited sampling of people who look at them, about half seem to be able to see the image in 3D. I see a lot of gimmicky 3D photos on the internet, and I suspect mine are as well. On the other hand, I never have had good luck looking at wildflower photos in reference books and recognizing them out in the field. The 3D version looks a lot closer what I see while hiking. In any case, one thing you can do if you have your own non-commercial web site is to include the gimmicky, trite and goofy. I'm sure there are all of the above in TrabucoOutdoors.com. I'll add additional photos as have time to take them, at least until spring is over or I get bored with them.

How to view: These use the cross eye method. While looking at the two adjacent images, cross your eyes until the two images overlap and for a third image between the two. You focus on the middle image and it should appear in 3D. For some people, it helps to use the "Xs" I've placed above each photo. If you still can't see it in 3D, maybe this page will help. If you still can't see it after a few minutes, it probably just isn't worth it.
